Hosting

This website is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When you visit our website, information is automatically stored in server log files that your browser transmits:

  • IP address (anonymized)
  • Date and time of the request
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL

This data is processed to ensure the smooth operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Server log files are automatically deleted after 14 days.

Cookies and Local Storage

Our website does not set any cookies. The language follows from the address you open (German at /, English at /en/).

Your browser only stores the colour mode setting (light or dark) in the local storage of your device (nuxt-color-mode). This storage is technically necessary so that your choice is kept on the next page view and happens without consent. We do not use any marketing or tracking cookies. For this reason, our website does not require a cookie banner.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest) and § 165 (3) TKG 2021 (technically necessary storage).

Web Analytics with Plausible Analytics

For the statistical analysis of website usage, we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service provided by Plausible Insights OÜ (Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia). All data is processed exclusively on servers within the European Union. No personal data is transferred to third countries.

Plausible works without cookies and without storing personal data. No cross-device identifiers are assigned and no profiles are created. Only aggregated, anonymous metrics are collected, such as:

  • Page views and pages visited
  • Referrer (origin of visit)
  • Approximate country of origin, device type, browser and operating system

To distinguish visits, the IP address and browser signature are combined server-side into an anonymous value using a daily rotating key (hashing). This value does not allow any conclusions about your identity and is not stored permanently. The IP address itself is not stored.

Because no personal data is processed and no cookies are used, no consent is required for this web analytics. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the needs-based design and optimization of our website in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
